On our first day in Shenzhen we went to the Shenzhen museum. We went there by metro and Felix even bought himself a metro card! The museum showed the history of Shenzhen from ancient time until nowadays.
In the afternoon we went to the Huawei Headquarter. It is more like a whole village than just an office. The whole area is huge and there is even a Huawei University. There are about 50’000 people working there. You can find everything from restaurants to apartments on the campus. The “office“ itself has so many building, that you take a shuttlebus to get from one to another building.
We met William for coffee and then we had a wonderful diner with Alex. We also visited one of the office buildings and a small lab, which was quite interesting for me.
