Day 3 in Lijiang

On our 3rd day we wanted to go to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. We took a trip there, but at the ticket offica we learnt that we couldn’t go up (we haven’t figured out the reason yet). So instead we went to the Yak Meadow. Our driver drove us to the parking, from where we took a bus. The we switched to a reeealy slow cablecar. However the view was so beautiful that it was still great.

On the meadow we walked a little bit around and saw some yaks. Back down we took the cablecar again and I’m not sure whether it got slower or it has always been that slow… On the bus ride home we had a stop at the blue moon lake. This lake is so blue it seems unnatural, but still very beautiful.

We walked a bit at the shore, searched a Geocach abd found it and took some pictures. We weren’t the only ones taking pictures, even some wedding couples did.

Back in Lijiang we were quite hungry and we ate at the same place we did the first evening. And the good choice renained. We walked around the old city again, because that’s what you do here….

This was our last day in Lijiang. We really enjoyed the time here and we recommend to everyone to visit Lijiang once in your life.
